Rain, rain, rain

Had to change our plans a little as the weather isn't great here. It's a bit of a shame really as it means we have missed out our trip to the White Island volcano and a road trip round the eastern cape, which is supposed to be beautiful. Never mind - now in Hawkes Bay, which is wine country, so I am sure we will be able to drown our sorrows.

In quite a nice hostel in Napier. It's just a shame about the two loud, biggoted Brits sitting on the sofa having a conversation about immigration... Anyway.

Just arrived here today, but Napier looks like a very nice little city. It was destroyed in an earthquake in the 20s and rebuilt in art-deco style. Very pretty.
