Feeling yukky, but in good hands. Fiona - my friend we're visiting in Christchurch - is a doctor and assures me I'll live.

Alec isn't feeling too hot either, so it's going to be a great welcoming committee for his mum and dad when they arrive on Friday. So far they have reached Sydney, via Singapore, so they'll be glad of some less severe summer weather once they get here.

It's great to see Fiona and meet Dennis though. They have a lovely place and Christchurch is a beautiful city. What with us being sick and Fiona being up to her eyeballs in study at the moment we're not doing anything very exciting, but it's great to catch up and chill out for a few days.
