13 hours ahead
Well, since the clocks changed in the UK this weekend we're now 13 hours ahead of most people who will be reading this.
Not posted for a bit, but just doing day to day stuff here really. Website getting sorted and the plan is to move off from here on the 17th November.
The plan is to do the rest of the north island a little quicker than we have managed so far. A bit of a road trip interspersed with some Wwoof stops along the way. So, it looks like Christmas in the south of the North Island. On the beach hopefully. :)
You might think it's a little early to be thinking of Christmas, but we're all festive at the moment since the last posting date for surface mail is coming up. Feels very bizarre buying Christmas cards in spring. Even more bizarre - the Kiwis have snow on some of their Christmas cards...
Anyway.
Since there are only small bits to finish off here on the site I'm off on a week's Wwoof this Wednesday whilst Alec ties up the loose ends here. Heading down to a market garden about an hour south of here to get my gum boots muddy and my hands dirty. Looking forward to getting stuck into some outdoors work. Will probably have more interesting stuff to tell you when I get back from the Wwoof.
